ESE Consultants, Inc (ESE) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Toll Brothers, Inc.

ESE supports Toll Brothers residential, commercial, Apartment Living, and City Living teams with in-house surveying, planning, engineering, and environmental consulting services nationwide from New England to Seattle, Washington.

ESE began in the early 1980s with one survey crew in Bucks County, Pennsylvania to help Toll Brothers with production and quality control. As Toll Brothers grew, ESE grew, expanding into Chester and Montgomery Counties and New Jersey. In the mid-1980s, ESE started its engineering team and became known as Eastern States Engineering then expanded into land planning and landscape architecture. In the mid-2000s, Eastern States Engineering changed its name to ESE Consultants Inc to reflect geographical expansion beyond the eastern seaboard.
